We here at GoldenQuest, have always been confident and proud of our Mini Golden Retrievers, and all of the extra things we do to ensure they're the best, in every way. Recently, a comparison chart was made, that we hope also will aide in making your choice in your new addition

Canine Health and Longevity Program

Our Health and Longevity Program is solely focused on giving our dogs the best health, and longest lives possible.

Many steps have been put in to place over the years to achieve this goal of producing the healthiest of breeds. Bar none.

Kathy was never able to find a health and longevity program focused for breeders, so she created one.

Quality dogs aren’t produced by accident.  It takes education, testing, and commitment.  By testing, we can totally eliminate the risk of some diseases and greatly reduce the odds of acquiring others.  To achieve optimal health, Kathy created our two-pronged program.

Health

First comes health. As breeders, we do all we can to use superior genetics and current science to produce healthy puppies and give them an optimal start on life.

Longevity

Second comes longevity, which we also find to be just as important. Because of this, we encourage you, as an owner, to partner with us in continuing to keep your dog healthy, to expand the quality and length of their life as well once they come home.

We do our best in guiding our clients so that, if you choose to, you too can contribute to your dog’s health and longevity!

Extra Steps We Take

• Kept up to date on all medical needs while with us
• Fed quality food
• Microchipped at 3 weeks old
• Sent home with Microchip info
• Registration prepaid for
• Internationally recognized Microchips to cover you anywhere you are
• We want to be 100% responsible for all dogs we create, and we never want to be part of the burden to shelters and rescues
• We made sure to include in our contracts that any of our dogs who cannot be kept for any reason, are to be returned to us. We then resolve the issue accordingly, and rehome when remediated and ready to be rehomed
• Given an abundance of loves and boops!

Extra Steps You Can Take

• Register your dog's microchip as soon as possible
• Keep registration information updated
• If any comment, question, or concern arises, please let us know. 
• We are always here to help, and most of the times there is a fix way before we are contacted that could've remediated an issue or concern. 
• Keeping them up to date on vaccines, dental care, and preventatives
• Keeping them at a healthy weight
• Being cautious with accessories (fitted collars, harnesses, tags) to lower risk of injury
